Sigils of Slaughter (Demo)

Use mouse gestures to hack, slash, and magic your way through an otherworldly uprising certain to raze the world to nihility. Navigate chaotic urban environments, bringing to bear supernatural weapons and questionable strategies. Embrace the gore. Become the nightmare.

My goal with Sigils of Slaughter is to leverage sketch-based gesture input to create a unique and engaging gameplay experience. Since gestures are underutilized in games, the purpose of this prototype demo is to gather feedback on what works, what doesn't, and understand if it makes sense to expand Sigils of Slaughter into a full game. 

Controls

Plays with a keyboard and mouse, using WASD to navigate and the mouse to draw gestures while holding the left button. 

Teleport out of danger by drawing a V sigil:

Some enemies can be destroyed by drawing the sigil you see over their heads:

Others can be sliced with the Blades of Mayhem by drawing slashes:
